QR Art

Only an initial idea, but from a graphic form, the idea really captured me at the weekend. I have tested and actually making it myself then colouring it has no ill effect, it scans perfectly. Give it a go. More of this to follow.

My thought here is a simple, elegant DM Poster which links straight to the company site.

After playing a while with UpCode and one other app, both seemed to crash, so I downloaded a 3rd and final scanner called barcode, which works best it appears.

I like the idea I think it needs a little bit more structure thought.

Yeah the idea is there as simple graphic form, I will be developing it further.

Contrast is the most important element for the 2d reader to interpret the graphic properly. If your blocks are too light they will be seen as negative space and the image may become unreadable.

Good idea. I had a similar experience with scanning from my iPhone: lighter squares will not respond and will not return with a link to something.

    Keep me posted
